In a recent blog post, well known analyst Horace Dediu reads the success of mobile apps as a sign for an upcoming apocalypse for nothing smaller then all big media.
While its always interesting to see how people in the tech world can get so consumed with the tech world, that they totally seem to ignore the rest of the world, I really wonder if this means for him even the end of companies like Shazam or even Facebook as well. As they both rely heavily on their own mobile apps but can be considers big media them self for a couple of reasons :-)
Thanks PK for an amazing night @ Schleyerhalle Stuttgart on March 1st 2013.
Hm ... mind AND body. Honestly I rather paid more attention to the "mind" aspect of things the last decades. How wrong could I have been I had to discover recently luckily enough. Doing Veit Lindaus Think Big Evolution programm with my goal of loosing a couple of metric pounds (Yes, I did it!) I found out that "sane mind, healthy body" is not just something the fitness studios made up to drag us into their monthly plans. It really works my friends! Turning ballast into energy really gave me more heartfelt freedom and literally room to move. So much I'm gonna do it for another round the next 30 days. Getting rid of some more belly volume, towards a leaner, easier, smoother existence. With my body, in my mind. My bet is: 30 days, 5 metric pounds. Wish me luck and great "hunger games" :-)
"In Buddhism, we speak of touching Nirvana with our own body,
you can also touch the Kingdom of God with your body,
right here and now.
It is much safer than placing our hope in the future.
If we cling to the idea of hope in the future,
we might not notice the peace and joy that are available in the present moment.
The best way to take care of the future is to take care of the present moment."
Our friend John needs your help! Our good friend and partner for everything organic, Farmer John Peterson, from Caledonia, Ill./USA, the star of the highly acclaimed feature documentary "The Real Dirt On Farmer John" which we distributed in Germany, Switzerland and Austria back in 2007 recently started a kickstarter funding to support conversion of parts of his farm for future activities around education on organic farming and healthy eats. John deserves so much credit for believing in supporting organic acriculture at a time when it was not even 5% that fashionable as it is today, anno 2013. And for living a colourful life with so many ups and downs he probably stopped counting them all by now. So if this amazing human being asks for help we should give him all we can and much more. The current kickstarter is to convert an old dairy barn on his organic farm Angelic Organics ca. 2 hours south of Chicago into a learning center for children. So in the end, this is not even for John. It's for the children. So, please help! Thank you with all my <3!
Watch John himself introducing you into the project here:
As much as into farming and farming machinery, John is into the arts and the performing arts:
But yes, he is into farming with all his heart as well. Just as his father did on this land he stand on in this photos ...:
